Bryan and Personal Training/Coaching

Bryan is extremely passionate about the industry and has been working as a personal trainer since 2007. He has trained many clients of all ages in both Goulburn and Canberra through group fitness, boot camps, small groups and individual personal training sessions. He is well known for his diverse knowledge, advanced skill set and dedication to working with his clients to achieve their goals. Some of his clients goals have included competing in body sculpting competitions, marathons and other fitness events, body weight loss or body transformations and functional fitness, just to name a few. Bryan spent time working with a rehab specialist and is very experienced in working with clients undertaking rehabilitation post surgery or training around injuries. Bryans dream of starting Full Throttle Personal Training came to life in 2014. Bryan wanted to provide clients a safe and welcoming environment that could also be up to date with new and practical knowledge to best support clients to achieve their health and fitness goals. Bryan has a strong passion for training and is committed to helping clients achieve above and beyond their goals and through this passion has now expanded to Full Throttle Training Centre.

A bit about Bryan

Bryan is very committed to fitness both through work and his personal life. Growing up he played cricket, football and played Canberra Premier League soccer. More recently Bryan has discovered boxing and competed in 12 amateur fights fighting for Stockade Gym. He has also completed his Boxing Coaching training and has started to train up some young fighters.

Nickyboy is one of our most knowledgeable and valuable team members. He has a wealth of experience after years of boxing in the English military and working closely with countless athletes around the world. Nickyboy is also educated in sports psychology and always passes on his strong foundation of knowledge and motivation to each of the people he trains. He is a great padman and always willing to work with dedicated beginners as well as elite boxers.

A bit about Nickyboy

Nickyboy has been very dedicated to boxing and has a strong presence within the boxing community. Along with his extensive experience, he adds his British humour to each of his sessions. Although he describes himself as an ‘old man passing through’, it is almost impossible to miss his outgoing personality and charisma within the gym environment. When he isn’t training, coaching or working in an office, Nickyboy will be spending time with his beautiful wife, of over 30 years, and family in sunny Queensland.

Chris is a young man who is friendly, charismatic and brand new to the fitness industry. He is always up for a joke and loves a good surf to unwind. Chris is an ex-rugby player who enjoys keeping active and this is what has driven him to become a fitness instructor and personal trainer. He particularly enjoys muscular endurance and hypertrophy training. Chris finds helping people to set and achieve their goals very rewarding and Full Throttle is looking forward to supporting Chris to join the industry.

Lucy and Training

Lucy enjoys fitness and through her passion completed her Certificates III and IV in 2013 at the Canberra Institute of Technology. Lucy’s main interest was group training, specifically in Pole Dance fitness and undertook training to become an instructor at a local Pole and Fitness Studio until an injury resulted in her having to discontinue this dream. Lucy is also very interested in community work and providing accessible fitness programs. She has previously run fitness programs at a Community gym for both Community workers as well as vulnerable young people. In addition to this Lucy has also worked in training women of all abilities and fitness levels at a women’s gym. Lucy is always up for a chat and aims to make fitness an enjoyable and accessible activity for all.

A bit about Lucy

Lucy grew up not enjoying sport or exercise, except for the occasional netball game, until she discovered the gym environment in her late teens. She started working in a circuit gym and this started her passion for training and fitness. Lucy loves Pole Dance Fitness and prior to injuries would spend all of her free time at the pole studio. More recently Lucy has played indoor soccer and is developing an enjoyment of boxing. Outside of the gym, Lucy works full time for a community service as a Youth Worker and also works with people living with a disability.

Abbey is a very bright and enthusiastic Full Throttle Team member. She is young, happy, outgoing and brings smiles to the faces of everyone she meets. She has previously worked in the administration side of the fitness industry and is excited to be continuing her fitness journey through her studies and also working at Full Throttle Training Centre. Abbey has also worked in Childcare and is a very approachable ‘people-person’. Abbey loves shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
